Tier comparison

Four tiers. Named after the food we eat between deploys.

Pricing in NPR is honest local; EUR is a fixed-rate convenience. Every tier is on the same Fujitsu hardware with identical redundancy — the difference is how big a slice you reserve.

Hardware is paid off in under 4 months at this pricing.

The Fujitsu hardware was bought outright and is being amortized straight-line over 24 months against the tier pricing above. Even at our aggressive entry-level pricing, the payback period on the full hardware investment is under 4 months. That cushion is what funds the 3-year price guarantee and the dual-ISP redundancy without margin pressure.

VPS operations

Boring, predictable, written-down.

A VPS is infrastructure; surprises are a bug. Snapshot policy, console access, backup posture, and bandwidth limits are public and stable.

KVM isolation Each VPS is a full hardware-virtualized guest, not a container. No noisy-neighbor surprises.
Per-tenant snapshots 7-day rolling snapshots (14-day at Newari Khaja Elite). Restore yourself or via support.
IPv4 + IPv6 Both stacks on every tier. We do not charge extra for IPv4 yet.
Out-of-band console Web-based serial console when SSH gets you stuck.
Hourly off-host backup Optional encrypted off-host backup to a separate volume; included on Dal Bhat Power and Newari Khaja Elite.
No surprise egress fees Bandwidth is monthly-capped per tier, not metered after a free quota.

Practical questions

The details that matter before you reserve.

Why is this so much cheaper than the local KTM data centers?

Two reasons. First: we own the hardware outright, no leasing markup. Second: we are deliberately running at a much smaller margin than typical commercial cloud — closer to a co-op model — because the value of the network is in customers running real workloads here, not in extracting maximum per-customer rent.

What if I am outside Nepal — does location still make sense?

It depends on your workload. Latency-sensitive Indian, Bangladeshi, or regional SaaS workloads benefit from being close to home. EU customers who want hardware outside US/CN jurisdiction get a credible third option. Latency to North America or far western Europe will be worse than a local cloud — that is honest physics.

Can I migrate from DigitalOcean / Hetzner / Linode?

Yes. We provide a rescue-image based migration path that boots a target image, mounts your source rsync target, and copies you over with downtime in the single-minutes range. We can also handle this for you on Dal Bhat Power and Newari Khaja Elite — included at no extra cost.

What is your uptime track record?

The hardware is operating today; SLA targets and historical uptime stats will be published before launch and updated quarterly. Founding-batch customers get a credit-on-miss guarantee written into the launch terms.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

We hold your VPS in a stopped state for 30 days, then wipe and reissue the IP. You can download a final snapshot at any point during that window.

Can I host an inference workload on a VPS?

For very small models you can do it. For anything serious, use our Inference product — it is on dedicated hardware with proper GPUs, and it will be cheaper than running an underpowered LLM on a CPU VPS.
